It sucks that you have had to learn the hard way thus far, but doing "cut and paste" applications is a sure-fire way to get dings. Also, it seems like you REALLY rushed a number of your applications, submitting some less than two weeks after even thinking about the school. These apps are all about "Why XYZ school" more than anything else; the Adcoms know that you want an MBA but they need to know why their school is best for you. It sounds like you started to figure this out as you progressed though.
It really sucks and I wish you all the best for the future. But I kinda have to agree with the comment above. Anyways you must have learned valuable lessons after being through this entire process. Rock on.
True..I learnt it the hard way..In hindsight..I see a not so connected career path projected from my side..I should have made it a more realistic path and the goals too..I will post on this so that others can benefit too..
Sorry to hear about the dings. Certainly the experience must have taught you something that would take you to your dream school next year, wish you the very best. - a passerby
I am sorry, dude. but u r still very young and one more year(if it has to come to that) will not be bad in terms of achieving your goals.I personally can think of so many things I would have done in the one year if I had to re-apply, to make myself more ready for both the mba and a career after.
And again, game's not over. Kelley is a great school too and good luck with that

Best of luck with the Kelley application.
