AdCom says..My Ross application is complete..

Yes..Yesterday I received a mail asking to send my degree certificate by fax or scan and e-mail and if i dont have that handy, i have to request my University to grant it and send it..I have it with me while submitting the application..But could not attach it to the mark sheets as the size is exceeding the limit given for transcripts (2MB) and I was not able to upload the whole thing. So uploaded only marks sheets.

I immeditely sent the degree certificate by e-mail yesterday and after 3 hours got the mail that my application is complete and ready for review and If the Admissions Committee would like additional information during the review process they will contact me..and thanked for my patience to not to reply to the same email..I think they dont want anyone to bother them with unnecessary emails. Anyway..its a good news to know that my application is complete and i hope more and more good news follows. :-).

Application process..

Application process is cming to an end..Of course the important interviews are ahead. But the sumission of the materials in itself is a huge task..That too for an applicant like me who is applying to 7-8 schools. Overall I am happy with my work till now though I lost in the initial days..In the Ross application have submitted today , I have done some last minute changes that were very important. These are about why this school and what this can do..I explained why..But have not done very well what for me..So modified it..

I have just one more application to do..KELLEY. Now have to research what really keeps K apart. I am interested in Strategy and Kelley does not seem to be very great at that and the good thing at kelley seems to be marketing as many students are majoring and there are excellence centers for marketing. Any way I will try to find some more about kelley..

Submitted Ross application. This is one of my strongest applications after the learnings from the debacles in R-1. Wrote very good esssay for Why and Why?.

Now again the wait starts..Ross is the best school for Strategy, the thing that interests me much. I hope for the best.

Devoured..Ross and Duke ..Pounced on Tepper

Gave the final touches to Ross and Duke..Ofcourse..I will not submit them immediately..My credit card aleady has an outstanding amount of 30K and so will submit the applications a week later so that the billing comes in next round. Financial Planning..Even before joining MBA..Hahaha.

Started working on Tepper..Have to do some research on Tepper..I am skeptical whther Tepper has got any loan assistance program for internationl students.. Tepper is a good school..Based on its strong technical grounds, its program is analysis intensive the thing that is my interest. Will do some more research..

Ross Essays and Winter..

Winter arrived and I have to change my way of working.

I can not get up early in the morning. So have slept at 12 A.M and got up at 7 A.M. Working on the Ross application and got a new idea for the first (leadership) essay. Wrote the essays and sent it to my friend for editing.

Have to complete them soon. Already slipped the schedule by 2 days.

Working on Ross Application..

Today I have started working on the ross application. Since already I have applied to Wharton, Tuck and Darden most of the essays are rephrasing and editing of the old ones.
